Back then, the character Yuffie never appeared during the early Midgar events. Click here to check out the DLC on Amazon.Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a retelling of the opening chapters from the 1997 original. This is a huge bummer for PS4 owners, but hopefully they release it on PS4 in the future. It definitely is one of the best games I’ve bought in the last few years, and I’m super excited to see where the sequel goes! One thing to note: the Yuffie DLC is ONLY available on PS5. And if you own a PS4 or PS5 and STILL haven’t bought Final Fantasy VII Remake, I would highly recommend it. I would definitely recommend the Intergrade DLC to anyone who has Final Fantasy VII Remake and is interested in it. ConclusionĪll in all, I liked the Yuffie DLC! I wish there had been more main storyline content in the game, but for the price you get it at (which I believe was $20 when I bought it) its a good deal! The gameplay you do get in the game is really exciting, and anything else is just an added bonus. I don’t want to say too much, so if you want to see for yourself click on the video above and you’ll see what I mean. As a result things that seemed final aren’t so final anymore. Since you defeat “Destiny” (which happens to be an actual living being), the game and fate can go in literally any direction now. However the ending scene also led to a lot of confusion since some pivotal points were changed in Final Fantasy VII Remake. It got me REALLY excited for Part 2 of Final Fantasy VII Remake! What really made me feel like the DLC was worth it was getting to see a five minute cutscene of what Cloud and the rest of the main characters are doing as they travel between Midgar and the town of Kalm. While I loved Yuffie’s side story, she wasn’t the reason I ended up loving the Intergrade DLC. A look into Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 (Spoilers) But I would’ve rather they filled that extra 10 to 15 hours with tasks that contribute to the main story. Honestly if you completed every activity you probably could get an additional 10 to 15 hours of gameplay in. While some filler activities and achievements are fun to have in games, there should be more of a focus on the actual storyline. I know that its based off of the Fort Condor game in the original Final Fantasy VII, but I didn’t really care about Fort Condor in that game either. Honestly, I couldn’t care less about Fort Condor. For example, in the trailers for the DLC they make out Fort Condor (a game you can play against some NPCs) to be a super fun and exciting part of the game. Unfortunately a lot of these activities aren’t very exciting. However, if you wanted to, you could easily spend more time on the game if you completed all the extra random activities they give you to do. The Intergrade DLC generally takes a few hours to beat. There are a lot of unnecessary filler activities While the story is very short (around 4-5 hours with my playstyle), it is filled with a lot of compelling plot points and emotional moments. In the Intergrade DLC you not only get to know more about Yuffie, you also get to play her as you complete a side story relating to her mission! Honestly having a chance to play as Yuffie in a format outside of turn-based battles was really cool! Plus since Yuffie is a ninja, she has some pretty cool moves! In the Intergrade DLC you get to see Yuffie’s experiences as she enters Midgar for the first time on a secret mission all the way through what I assume is right before she meets Cloud and the rest of the main characters in the outside world. I was super excited when the Intergrade DLC was announced along with a side story for Yuffie! Here are some of my thoughts on the Intergrade DLC The Intergrade DLC provides more of a background for Yuffieīefore Yuffie met Cloud and the other main characters in the original Final Fantasy VII, we didn’t know basically anything about her. Although I’m a little late in writing about this, today I’m going to talk about some of my thoughts on the Intergrade DLC for Final Fantasy VII Remake.Īnyone who has played the original Final Fantasy VII knows and loves Yuffie, the Materia-hunting ninja of Wutai. Don’t worry though, I’ve still had time for video games! My husband and I have been playing a few different games the last few months. Holy cow, its been a while since I’ve written my last blog post! Between a family vacation, starting a new full-time job (I had a part-time job before), and house-hunting (which is near impossible nowadays, I swear) I’ve been busy.
